I’m Vida Macura Maglica, founder of the EXTREME® brand and a passionate athlete since the age of seven. Sport has shaped me, giving me discipline, passion, and unwavering dedication.

From karate to strength coach

From a young age, I dedicated my heart and commitment to karate. I trained with the goal of achieving top results, and I succeeded.

I am a former representative of the Republic of Slovenia in karate, a multiple national champion in karate sports fighting, a karate master (1st dan black belt), and a multiple title holder at the European Karate Cup in sports fighting.

Karate taught me perseverance, strength, and that any goal is achievable if you are fully committed to it with all your heart.

After achieving my goals in karate, I shifted my focus to strength training and conditioning. At the Faculty of Sport in Ljubljana, I obtained a Level II strength coach certification.

My academic background also extends to public administration, as I studied at the Faculty of Administration in Ljubljana. This allowed me to develop strategic thinking, which later helped me in structuring and organizing workout programs.

The beginning of something bigger – the birth of EXTREME TRAINING®

My decision to shift from personal competition to coaching was based on the desire to transfer practical skills into structured workout programs.

By combining martial arts techniques and principles of strength training, I developed programs tailored to various fitness goals.

This is how, the EXTREME TRAINING® app was born – a platform that is not just a workout program, but a comprehensive system for body shaping and a healthy lifestyle.

The concept was born from observing the shortcomings in existing fitness programs, especially for individuals who needed a gradual increase in workout intensity.

I designed the program to offer ten intensity levels and five different modules, allowing flexibility for different fitness levels.

Leta 2020 se je aplikacija uvrstila na prvo mesto na svetu po inovativnosti med vsemi aplikacijami za zdravje in fitnes.

Leta pa 2021 je dosegla šesto mesto na globalni ravni glede na število aktivnih uporabnikov, kar kaže na rast priljubljenosti med začetniki in izkušenimi športniki.

To mi je dalo potrditev, da sem na pravi poti.

International recognition and collaborations

This success attracted the attention of event organizers, sports fairs, and potential partners who recognized the structured design of the platform and its patented credibility.

I have participated in major sports events, often as one of the few, and sometimes even the only European representative. I led workout programs, introduced new modules, and collaborated with colleagues specialized in dance, weight training, and mixed martial arts.

In 2022, I received an incredible opportunity – as the only European, I was invited to the largest global sports fair in Dubai, where I led two exclusive training sessions on the main stage.

In 2023 and 2024, I was the head coach and the only international representative at the largest sports fair in Europe, Rimini Wellness, where I led three training sessions a day in front of a large audience. I will also be the head coach and the only international representative at this major sports fair in 2025.

Being on stage and seeing people from all corners of the world training with me was an unforgettable moment for me.

Now, I am creating something even more – EXTREME® dietary supplements.

"Exercise and nutrition are inseparably linked, but when I looked at the dietary supplement market, I was disappointed. Too many artificial additives, empty promises, and products that don’t provide the support the body needs.

Zato sem ustvarila EXTREME® prehranska dopolnila – brez nepotrebnih polnil, brez bližnjic, samo vrhunske sestavine in maksimalna učinkovitost. Ker verjamem, da telo potrebuje le najboljše – tako pri treningu kot pri prehranski podpori.

Today – Wife, mother, coach, entrepreneur

Today, I am a coach, entrepreneur, wife, and mother. Honestly, balancing all these roles isn’t always easy, but sport has taught me one key thing – if you truly want something, you’ll find a way, not excuses.

My goal remains the same: to help people feel strong, confident, and healthy – no matter where they are on their journey.
