About me –
Vida Macura Maglica
I am Vida Macura Maglica, founder of the EXTREME® brand and an avid athlete since the age of 7. Sports have shaped me, given me discipline, passion, and unwavering dedication.
I turned my heart and dedication to karate at an early age. I trained with the goal of achieving top results, and I achieved them.
I am a former representative of the Republic of Slovenia in karate, multiple national champion in karate combat sports, karate master (black belt 1st degree) and multiple title holder at the European Karate Combat Sports Cup.
Karate taught me perseverance, strength, and that any goal is achievable if you are committed to it with all your heart.
After achieving my goals in karate, I shifted my focus to strength training and conditioning. I obtained a second-level fitness trainer license at the Faculty of Sports in Ljubljana.
My academic background also extends to the field of public administration, having studied at the Faculty of Public Administration in Ljubljana. This gave me the strategic thinking skills that later helped me in structuring and organizing training programs.
The beginning of something bigger – the birth of EXTREME TRAINING®
My decision to shift from personal competition to coaching was based on the desire to transfer practical skills into structured workout programs.
By combining martial arts techniques and principles of strength training, I developed programs tailored to various fitness goals.
This is how, the EXTREME TRAINING® app was born – a platform that is not just a workout program, but a comprehensive system for body shaping and a healthy lifestyle.
The concept was born from observing the shortcomings in existing fitness programs, especially for individuals who needed a gradual increase in workout intensity.
I designed the program to offer ten intensity levels and five different modules, allowing flexibility for different fitness levels.

In 2020, the app ranked first in the world for innovation among all health and fitness apps.
In 2021, it reached sixth place globally in terms of active users, indicating growth in popularity among both beginners and experienced athletes.
This confirmed that I was on the right path.
International recognition and collaborations
This success has attracted the attention of event organizers, sports fairs, and potential partners who have recognized the platform's structured design and its patented credibility.
I participated in large-scale sporting events, often as one of the few, sometimes even the only European representative. I led training programs, presented new modules and collaborated with colleagues specializing in dance, weight training and mixed martial arts.
In 2022, I had an incredible opportunity - as the only European, I was invited to the world's largest sports fair in Dubai, where I led two exclusive training sessions on the main stage.
In 2023 and 2024, I was the head coach and the only international representative of the largest sports fair in Europe, Rimini Wellness, where I led three training sessions each day in front of a large audience. I am also the head coach and the only international representative of this largest sports fair in 2025.
Being on stage and seeing people from different parts of the world training with me was an unforgettable moment for me.
Through these performances, I also established a dialogue with elite athletes and coaches who were looking for flexible and systematic fitness approaches. My background in karate and academic experience allowed me to have effective discussions about training methods.
Today – Wife, mother, trainer, entrepreneur
Today I am a coach, entrepreneur, wife, and mother. Honestly, balancing all these roles isn't always easy, but sports have taught me one key thing – if you really want something, you will find a way, not an excuse.
My goal remains the same: to help people feel strong, confident, and healthy – no matter where they are on their journey.
